About Us: Midwestern University’s College of Veterinary Medicine is a fully accredited, rapidly growing program committed to student-centered learning and high-quality patient care. The Companion Animal Clinic is a modern facility equipped with state-of-the-art operating suites, advanced imaging (digital radiography, fluoroscopy, C-arm, 32-slice CT, ultrasound), endoscopy, laparoscopy, arthroscopy, full in-house clinical pathology, and a wide array of specialty services including anesthesiology, physical therapy, cardiology, and a blood bank and others.
The Position: We are seeking a locum small animal surgeon to provide clinical service and support our surgical team. Flexible dates are available, and we welcome interest ranging from short-term coverage to recurring or extended locum blocks. You will join a collaborative group of clinicians, dedicated technicians, and a learning environment that prioritizes patient care, teamwork, and mentorship of veterinary students.

Ideal Candidate:
DVM or equivalent
Board-certified or residency-trained in small animal surgery (ACVS or ECVS)
Eligible for Arizona veterinary licensure
