Live Oak Veterinary Specialists (LOVS) is a new, independently owned specialty and emergency hospital opening in beautiful Savannah, GA. Created to provide exceptional, compassionate care and long-term professional fulfillment, LOVS is structured so surgeons and all clinicians receive the support, respect, and balance they deserve.

Founded by Jason King, DVM, DACVIM (Neurology), cMAV, cVPP, MBA, LOVS is built on medical excellence, collaboration across services, and a commitment to remaining locally and independently owned. As a surgeon at LOVS, you’ll join a high-quality team designed to allow you to practice at your best — with strong interdepartmental support and leadership that truly understands the needs of specialists.

We are seeking board-certified or residency-trained Small Animal Surgeons who value teamwork, autonomy, and a positive, growth-oriented culture. You’ll have the opportunity to influence service development, collaborate across specialties, and help shape a hospital built intentionally to support specialty medicine.

$200,000 base salary + 25% production
(paid quarterly, no negative accrual)
