Madison Veterinary Specialists (MVS) is seeking an ACVS board-certified Surgeon or residency-trained Veterinarian to join our established team of three surgeons in a highly collaborative, privately owned specialty and emergency hospital.
This role offers a robust and predictable surgical caseload supported by:
A large, loyal referring community across Wisconsin and the greater Midwest
A busy, high-quality internal Emergency & Critical Care service, providing consistent access to emergency surgical cases
Strong collaboration with internal medicine, neurology, oncology, anesthesia, diagnostic imaging, and critical care

Full in-house diagnostic laboratory and blood bank
Highly trained, surgery-certified technicians
Integrated EMR, Cubex inventory system, and digital treatment boards

Requirements
DVM or equivalent degree
ACVS board-certified or residency-trained
Licensed or license-eligible in Wisconsin
