The Ballarat Veterinary Practice Equine Clinic in Victoria, Australia, was established in 1945 and is one of the largest and most experienced equine hospitals in the Southern Hemisphere.
We are renowned for our expertise in equine surgery and sports medicine, and offer both primary and referral consultations, as well as a full range of racetrack and on-farm services.
The clinic is adjacent to the Ballarat Turf Club Racing and Training Centre where 600 thoroughbred race horses are trained and 36 race meetings are held each year. There is also a large local standardbred population, and 40 meetings per year are held at the local harness racing track. Our sport horse population is growing and we service some of the leading dressage, jumping and eventing horses in Victoria.
