Company Profile
PriorityVet - Pet Urgent Care
Company Overview
Don't be fooled. We are often imitated, but never duplicated!
PriorityVet is the only existing STAND-ALONE, TRUE URGENT CARE PRACTICE in the greater NJ region. We diverge from traditional ERs and urgent care "departments" currently available for after-hours care. We are closed for the major holidays and provide no major surgery or overnight care. We have reduced wait times, lower bills and less stress by design.
Our clinicians never have to compete for practice resources, have no hospitalized cases to tend to and provide no routine care, ever. There's no waiting for a free exam room, the x-ray suite, the lab or a phone. No sharing of receptionists, technicians or assistants. No one deciding what cases the clinician is responsible for. Everyone and every resource is dedicated to our urgent care clinicians and care. This allows us to focus on non-critical cases and to be nimble, efficient and economical in our delivery of superior outpatient care in this rapidly growing niche.
The vast majority of our patients are treated on an outpatient basis with short-term admission for diagnostics and minor anesthetic procedures (lacerations, urethral obstruction, splinting, etc). Critical and major surgical cases are stabilized and referred to a local 24-hour care facility. The facility is well-equipped with full in-house laboratory, digital radiography, ultrasound, EKG, BP, Tonopen, pulse oximetry, fluid pumps, Isoflurane and cloud-based practice software.
In a bold and unprecedented effort to conserve our valuable resources, focus on returning pets to wellness, and to preserve our precious mental health, we do not offer euthanasia as a stand-alone, on-demand procedure to pet owners calling or arriving seeking same. Only clients presenting for care of an ill, distressed or pet in pain are offered this service.
Our hours of operation are 4PM-11PM daily. We are closed Christmas Eve and Day, New Year's Eve and Day, Thanksgiving, Easter and July 4th.
