A brand new, locally owned and operated referral and emergency hospital is opening this fall in the Northeast Philadelphia suburbs of Bucks County, just minutes from Princeton, NJ and with easy access to both Philadelphia and New York City.
Friends Veterinary Specialty & Emergency is founded by a team of veterinary professionals with long-standing relationships in the region and extensive veterinary referral and emergency experience.
We are building a hospital staffed by talented, friendly individuals who are eager to serve our community. Our goal is to create a closeknit environment where expert veterinary care thrives and where you always know who is making the decisions that shape how the hospital operates.
Why is this opportunity unique?
Our first surgeon will have the opportunity to establish a new service and help determine how the hospital grows. Unhindered by corporate bureaucracy, our ambitious and collaborative group of specialists is building a team of professionals to work hand-in-hand, supporting one another's’ ongoing professional growth and optimizing patient outcomes.
Our 25,000 square foot building is currently being renovated to have nearly 13,000 square feet of brand-new clinical space consisting of:
Three fully equipped ORs
2 digital radiology rooms (one to serve anesthetized IM, neuro, and surgery cases and a second to serve ER and other specialty services)
1.5T MRI and 64-slice CT
A steady mix of orthopedic elective cases, soft tissue cases, and ER inpatient transfers where appropriate

Competitive base salary + production-based earning potential
Equity opportunities
