Full or Part Time Small Animal Surgeon -
Join a Close-knit Team in an Independently Owned ER and Speciality Hospital at Four Seasons Veterinary Specialists in Loveland, Colorado!
Located in Loveland, Colorado, about 50 miles north of Denver, Four Seasons Veterinary Specialists is seeking a full-time or part-time board certified surgeon or individual who has completed residency training in small animal surgery. We are an independent, veterinarian-owned, AAHA accredited specialty, critical care and emergency hospital, celebrating 11+ years of service. With one owner being a surgeon, excellence in surgical care has been a priority since day one. The hospital owners and leaders are on site, personally involved and available.
The surgery department is central to Four Seasons’ collaborative one team approach and includes 2 board certified surgeons, and a full time, board certified anesthesiologist. We work alongside 8 experienced veterinary technicians, one with an Anesthesia and Analgesia VTS and one pursuing her Surgery VTS. We work closely and collaboratively with the ER/Critical Care department, Oncology, Internal Medicine, Cardiology and Radiology departments. Our one-team philosophy and our close-knit, family-oriented culture ensures high quality care in a supportive, fun hospital environment.
We are seeking: A full or part-time surgeon with interests in both soft tissue and orthopedics. An interest in interventional radiology is a plus. We’re looking for a colleague who enjoys working with patients, clients and the veterinary community, and who’s motivated to be an active, involved member of the whole hospital team.
Hospital and equipment: Our beautiful, well-kept 11,000 square foot hospital includes 3 ORs, a special procedures room, and an anesthesia recovery room. Equipment includes arthroscopy and laparoscopy equipment, 5 ultrasound machines, a Canon Aquilion 64 slice CT, 2 digital radiography suites and a GE C-arm fluoroscope that can be used in the ORs.

The job: 3 to 4 approximately 10 hour days per week is considered full time work, and there are shared on-call duties. Part time work ranges from 20 to under 30 hours per week.

Seeking a full-time or part-time board certified surgeon or individual who has completed residency training in small animal surgery.
Interest in soft tissue and orthopedics. Interventional radiology experience would be a bonus.
