NOW HIRING: Surgeon

Crown Veterinary Specialists is looking to add another surgeon to our bustling surgery service. The position provides the opportunity to partner with three other boarded and experienced surgeons with an established track record of building relationships with clients and referring veterinarians in Northern New Jersey. A surgeon with a particular interest in orthopedics would complement the service well.  The service also boasts a VTS-Anesthesia certified head technician with extensive experience. We feature a brand-new “Smart C” miniature C-arm to complement our larger GE.  The surgery service currently performs a variety of soft tissue and orthopedic procedures.  We are planning to expand our minimally invasive capabilities and will be adding interventional radiology soon.

We provide:

       A woman-owned, independently owned 24/7 emergency and specialty practice

       An emergency department of twelve veterinarians led by a board-certified criticalist 

       Collaboration with colleagues in Internal Medicine, Emergency and Critical Care, Neurology, Oncology, Cardiology, and Dermatology in a patient-first, team-style environment.

       A fully equipped suite of diagnostics with endoscopy, thoracoscopy/laparoscopy, ultrasonography, echocardiography, digital radiology, high-resolution computed tomography (CT), fluoroscopy (mobile C-arm), and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) services. The CT and MRI will be upgraded as we move into the expanded facility.

       A broad range of minimally invasive surgical and cardiovascular procedures utilizing thoracoscopy, laparoscopy, and catheter- based/interventional techniques.

       Full-service on-site lab consisting of hematology, chemistry, blood gas, biomarker and coagulation profile capabilities.
