Veterinary Specialty Center of Sarasota, a premier specialty surgery practice on Florida’s Cultural Coast, is expanding! We are located in a thriving community just south of Tampa, and serve patients in the Sarasota, Lakewood Ranch, Manatee, and Charlotte communties. We are excited to invite applications for a full-time Small Animal Surgeon (or Surgical Resident completing a surgery residency) to join our dedicated specialty team in our privately-owned surgical practice.

We currenly offer:
- Countless advanced surgical equipment, including:
- Arthroscopy, laparoscopy (with ICG dye), Nanoscope, flexible scopes
- 16-slice Toshiba Aquilion CT with power contrast injector
- Intraoperative fluoroscopy and access to MRI
- Advanced surgical implants and instruments, including Harmonic Scalpel, Ligasure, Arthrex and a full line of locking implants, and more,
- On-site 3D printing, diode laser
- Comprehensive anesthesia and analgesia techniques - A robust support system including skilled technicians, client service team members, surgical interns, and specialists in rehabilitation, cardiology, and radiology and more services to come
- A collaborative work environment with an established case load and mentorship opportunities.
- The opportunity to pioneer a joint replacement program if you have an interest!
