Tufts VETS is recruiting a full-time surgeon to join our team of two surgeons. Tufts VETS is an affiliate of the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine, at Tufts University, providing a unique environment combining academia and private practice. Base: $200,000-275,000

Multiple specialists to support you: internal medicine, diagnostic imaging, ophthalmology, dermatology, cardiology, oncology and urgent care
The ECC teams consists of 4 criticalists and 8 ER doctors
A support team consisting of 6 anesthesia technicians (3 VTS-anesthesia candidates), 1 central sterile/OR assistant and 2 surgical appointment technicians
A 25,000-square foot hospital that recently underwent renovations and currently houses a large ICU, digital radiographs, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, CT, endoscopy, Arthrex scoping equipment (basic laparoscopy/thoracoscopy, plans to expand to orthopedic equipment), echocardiology suite, blood bank, telemetry, in-house Heska lab. There are currently 2 surgery suites with plans for a 3rd as part of the next phase of a larger remodeling project, along with expanded central sterile & induction.
Partnership with the teaching hospital of Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University provides resources including access to the diagnostic laboratory, library consortium, IT support, specialist consultation and more.
